Heya!
I am a brand identity designer and marketing graphic designer with experience in a variety of disciplines including, social media content, packaging and photography. For me, design is all about solving problems. I bring both strategic thinking and creativity into everything I do, making complex ideas easy to understand and beautiful to look at. I believe the best designs are functional, esthetically pleasing, and user-friendly. I’m always looking for opportunities to create work that reflects those values.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Art from Missouri Western State University where I studied graphic design and photography. And also ceramics! A fun fact about me, I was a professional ceramic artist for many years and I still make work in my spare time.
The following is a summary of my career:
•Expanded the brand identity and social media presence of Stonewall Sports KC.
•Solved complex design problems involving packaging and visual marketing materials for global retailers, such as Costco and Walmart.
•Crafted compelling brand experiences and built cohesive design systems that span across multiple channels for Insight 2 Design.
•Concepted and shot video from pre to post production for Core Equipment.
•Created captivating motion graphics for Firefly! Outdoor Gear.
•In my freelance work, I have created logos, mood boards, color pallets, posters, experiential design, packaging, print layout, photo retouching and photography and more.
•Currently working at The University of Kansas creating high-quality graphic materials for educators and test administrators to be utilized in education assessments.
